Academics

At the Junior School the National Curriculum for England programmes of study of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2 are taught to children aged 3 to 12. The Senior School continues with a programme based on the English National Curriculum in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, and students are prepared for IGCSE and A Level examinations as well as the Apolytirion.

Educating since 1944, The Junior School has been offering outstanding academic and social standards. The teaching is organised with a subject leader for the core subjects and each Year Group (usually 4 classes) is supported by a leader, who is line managed by an Assistant Head. The Headteacher, along with the leadership team, ensure standards are maintained, new methods and activities are incorporated into schemes of work and that the appropriate resources and facilities are available to the children. By the time the children complete Year 6 they are well-prepared for secondary education.

The Senior School, founded in 2003, was established as a result of the School’s continued expansion. Located in Latsia, the site offers a wide range of facilities designed to support and enhance your child’s educational experience. Classrooms are equipped with ScreenBeam technology, enabling teachers to present from anywhere in the classroom while circulating and providing one-to-one support, without being tethered to a desk.

The School also boasts extensive sports facilities, including a fully equipped gym, outdoor swimming pool, futsal pitch, basketball and volleyball courts, squash court, tennis courts, running track, and track and field facilities. In addition, students have access to two CET (Communication, Electronic and Technology) labs, three Science labs, a Digital Media room equipped for video and digital media editing, and a modern library. The School’s commitment to excellence is reflected in our students’ outstanding examination results and success in securing places at leading universities worldwide.
