    Ariel, a Year 6 student at The Junior & Senior School, recently took an assessment for 8th & 9th graders from the USA, the PSAT 8/9, part of the College Board suite of assessments. Despite being in Year 6, he scored in the top 95th percentile of 8th graders.
    This will allow him access to online courses from Stanford High School in the USA. He has also taken courses with the John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, receiving Grand Honors for his score on the SCAT. Ariel is currently enrolled in an engineering course at Arizona State University.

  • TOP IN CYPRUS - Cambridge International Examinations ENGLISH LITERATURE AWARDS!

    The English Department is proud to announce that two of our English Literature students have received an Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award! Olivia Iacovou has achieved the highest mark in Cyprus and gained the Top in Cyprus Cambridge IGCSE Literature in English award. Penelope Artemis has achieved the highest mark in Cyprus and gained Top in Cyprus Cambridge International AS Level Literature in English. We are so proud of our students and the wonderful work that they have produced for Literature!

  • Oxbright Essay Competition Success

    The English and History Departments at the Senior School are proud to announce that two of our students were successfully shortlisted in the prestigious Oxbright Essay Competition that attracts over 1000 entries from all over the world within the competitive field of essay writing!
    Emily Kyriakides wrote a brilliant essay answering the question “How can long-term thinking in the field of Politics foster optimism about the future?” and Danae Kartoude produced an excellent piece answering the question “How can long-term thinking in the field of History foster optimism about the future?” The panel of judges were very impressed with both essays and awarded the pupils a free place at an OxBright academic conference.
