  • Proud of our Alumnus George

    Published 12/05/26

We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our alumnus, George (Class of 2024), who continues to make his mark in the creative arts.

George co-directed the short film Retiro alongside Irene Tsolaki and Cezara Nicolae, which was awarded 1st prize in the 18–24 category at the 3rd Pancyprian Short Film Competition, part of the Cyprus Film Days International Film Festival. This year’s theme, “Brave Stories of Everyday Life,” inspired a powerful showcase of young talent, with the winning films screened at K Cineplex Prime and the Rialto Theatre in Limassol ahead of the festival’s feature presentations.

As an added honour, Retiro will also be showcased internationally through the French International Educational Film Festival (FIFE), bringing this remarkable work to audiences in France.

George is currently pursuing Acting at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona and is set to graduate in 2027.

We look forward to following his journey and future successes.
