Published 16/06/25Once more, our junior and senior students shone - this time in the Cyprus Bebras Challenge! The BEBRAS CY is organized by the Cyprus Computer Society in cooperation with the ICT Teachers Association under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth. Students from private and public schools in Cyprus participated in the 1st round online and the top 50 students in each year group qualified for the final (2nd) round.
The BEBRAS Award Ceremony took place on the 16th of April at the University of Cyprus, and we are proud to share that our school, came first in terms of student participation!
Congratulations to our bright students: Nika Aliaksandrauna, Xibei, Yufeng, Mariia, Ilaria Ioanna, Ziwen, Panagiotis, Alexandra, Christos, Andis, Andreas and Constantinos - and to all our teachers for this wonderful achievement!

Published 16/06/25The Business Faculty of the Junior and Senior School recently organized an educational trip to the headquarters of AlphaMega Hypermarkets. Our Year 10 Business Studies and Economics students, along with their teachers, were highly impressed with the impeccable organization of the visit and the outstanding quality of the presentations, which were highly pertinent to their curriculum.
The managers provided clear and comprehensive explanations of the roles and functions of each department, engaging the students throughout the visit. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Marios Antoniou, HR Manager of AlphaMega Hypermarkets, and his team for providing our students with this invaluable learning experience and opportunity.

Published 16/06/25To start our summer term, Year 2 enjoyed a trip to the park where they linked their class learning experiences on environmental awareness in PSHE and enjoyed their Literacy Week theme on nature.
This outing included a scavenger hunt, a collaborative creative activity inspired by our Literacy Week text, The Night Gardener, as well as some fun team games, a discussion about our environment and a picnic snack.

Our Year 6 class did just that during their authentic 'Victorian school day'! The day included drill exercises and traditional playground games! Students practiced writing on slates and using ink pens!They created dramatic recreations of Victorian photographs and they even baked Victoria sponge cupcakes with cream and jam! A truly immersive step back in time!

Published 16/06/25The Cyprus Chess Federation has successfully organised the Cyprus Team School Chess Championship 2025.
On Sunday, May 11th at the Journalists House in Nicosia, more than 130 students from public and private schools around Cyprus participated in a highly competitive event.Our team won second place and was awarded the Silver Medal in the Cyprus Lyceums category. Captained by Zian (Y11), Alexandros (Y10), Michail (Y9), and Marios (Y7), our school’s team participated in the competition for the very first time. Michail also won the 3rd Chess Board Best Player Award.
Congratulations on their amazing achievement, and many thanks to the Chess Federation for the opportunity to compete.
