English National Curriculum & 14 to 19

The Senior School builds on the excellent foundations of the KS1 and KS2 Curriculum of the Junior School. The School follows the English National Curriculum at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 leading to public examinations in International GCSEs or British based GCSEs and then onto AS and A2 examinations as preparation for university entry in the United Kingdom.


Key Stage 3

Ages 11-14

At Key Stage 3 we offer a range of subjects as part of a broad and balanced curriculum leading to external assessment at the end of Year 9.

Key Stage 4

Ages 14-16

Students follow nine subjects leading to either IGCSE or GCSE. Four of these subjects are compulsory and five are chosen from a range of Options.

Key Stage 5 (6th Form)

Ages 16-19

The 6th Form is designed to maximize students’ academic achievements and ensure that they leave The Senior School equipped for whatever path they have chosen.
