Aris, Year 7

I have been in the Senior School for the past seven years, and I can truly call it my second home; The A-Level and Sixth form staff always go out of their way to provide support academically and personally. Whether it is having a Literature class on the grass under the sun or dressing up as superheroes in A Level Drama, the memories I have formed will always be in my heart, forming a significant part of who I am today. Currently in my final year of school, preparing for university, I can honestly say that I cannot be prouder to have grown up in such a loving, caring and supportive environment.

- Eden, Year 13

As a Sixth Form student at the Senior School, days are never slow or unproductive. Our teachers and fellow Sixth Formers are seen as equals and the upmost respect exists within the members of our small yet cosy community. One thing that is different at Sixth Form is the fact that the relationships between students and teachers are a lot less “formal”, because we see most, if not all of our course teachers every day, and this friendly atmosphere is something I wish upon all new members of the Senior School Sixth Form.

- Aris, Year 12

My time in sixth form has been quite different from previous years but in quite a positive way. This year our teachers have allowed us to be more independent in our studies and we are continuously learning how to work on our own and reflect on our own pieces of work. This has thoroughly enabled me to prepare for university. I have also developed a clearer picture of what I want to study and the courses I want to choose.

Michaella, Alumna

Life in sixth form has given me the opportunity to experience my favourite subjects on a new level. I have the chance to spend more time focusing on the subjects I want to pursue at university life. Particularly, I enjoy my art lessons where I develop new skills which will definitely help me in the future.

- Marina, Year 12

In sixth form you have the freedom to specialise in the subjects that really interest you and explore them in real depth, in a rich and challenging learning environment. Even though the coursework becomes more demanding you are exposed to a variety of resources, hands on interactive learning and experienced teachers and staff determined to help you succeed.
