A Meaningful End to Business Week

Our Business Week was wrapped up in a truly touching and emotional way. On Friday, 6th February, our KS5 PSHE session was dedicated to the Always Ioanna Skordi Foundation, a charitable organisation that carries out remarkable work in loving memory of Ioanna Skordi.

We were deeply honoured to be joined by Ioanna Skordi’s father, Mr Michalis Skordis, founder of the foundation, who honoured us with his presence and shared Ioanna’s story, as well as insight into the work and mission of the foundation. His presentation was moving, inspiring, and left a lasting impression on everyone present.

To mark the day, a non-uniform day themed “Dress as a Business Person” was organised, and a very successful bake sale took place during both break times. During the second break, our very talented Y12 student Alexa Michael treated us to a beautiful musical performance, singing “Imagine” by John Lennon, adding an extra layer of emotion to the day.

A total amount of €833 was raised, with all proceeds being donated to the foundation to support its remarkable and impactful work.

We are incredibly proud of our school community for coming together with such compassion, generosity, and respect.
